oh thanku guys took a good 45 minutes for it to come back..yeah i have i thru a reseller i will ask him to give me axx to his ovh manager..actually not really a reseller just my friend in uk getting it for me thanks

Why not boot into rescue and check logfiles?
Could be a fsck running.

And ping is working from here.
