IPv6 on Xen VPS perfectly possible

As we've had quite a lot of requests lately on how to do other RAID configuration than the default one, I've created the following guide. As you know, the support doesn't cover these modifications. So you can use these instructions but at your own risk and OVH won't give you assistance.

Well I just noticed that it did work now. I guess other people have had this thought too Just thought it might be useful to anyone that hasn't yet

What gave you the impression it didn't work? The only issue is when you're not using bridging (or have it split it on a different /64), you have to use the Proxy NDP option.

I have been waiting for IPv6 to be an option on VPS at OVH for a long time. Now I find it's possible with Xen and network-bridge mode.

Steps required:
> Set up bridged mode on Xen Dom0
> Assign a Virtual MAC for an IPv4 IP
> Setup that IPv4 IP in the VM
> Setup an IPv6 IP, from your servers range, on the same NIC

That site will only load if you are routed over IPv6, so a lot of you won't be able to see it from home. It should look like this:
