Sorry my reply to the post was wrong.i thought u ment u orderd a gbit.
to see the 2nd drive on the 1 u have its just a case of going to computer managment then disk managment and then breaking the mirror on the 2nd drive then acctivating it and format it.job done.i no coz ive just done it.

Hi w00t, I beleive I've answered your email, but now I see the server name I can tell you've got a software RAID server, not hardware RAID server. Try reinstalling the server via the Manager and selecting the RAID setup you want at the partition stage. Email us if there are any problems or if you have any further questions.

yea thats what i thought. i worked with the tw_cli stuff before with another host but this doesnt even list any raid controllers present?

tw_cli info gives

No controller found.
Make sure appropriate AMCC/3ware device driver(s) are loaded.

but it says i have no raid controller? i checked panel from the rescue email. and it shows 2 drives. any further help would be great

you will have to desolve the raid your self.
if you browse the forums ul find a few posts with instruction on how to do this.

Hi there. i purchased a server last night and have a few general questions, i also emailed these support but had no reply yet.

I purchased superplan2008raid, But in the setup i so no option to choose which raid config i needed "Raid 0" so it seems they just made it Raid 1, Also i didnt see no options for cent os 5.1 64bit, is it possible to get this installed? Since the server as 4gb ram and im wanting to install Directadmin on here and directadmin would only see 3.3gb ram

Can i change the raid config myself? or do i need to wait on them to contact me back?

Btw. so far im very impressed with OVH, , Glad i signed up now after reading some of the topics/posts on here.
