We will offer Ubuntu Server 10.04 as with all Ubuntu Server releases, we are also aware that Ubuntu Desktop 8.04 is getting old, so we are looking at the possibility of releasing a new version however this will require some work.

I have installed 10.04 server from scratch using the debootstrap method on my dedicated server, works a treat for me.

These servers are unmanaged, the OS is up to you. You don't have to go with the options in OVH manager, just use vkvm to install.

Let them finish beta testing the release first.... It not to long come out on its first public beta, so be a while yet before it released, but no doubt as soon as it is released OVH will look to adding it to the list of available o/s that are currently available.
