JulieH: try "cat /proc/meminfo"

I also formated the key as swipe, but not sure how to see how much of it is being accessed. I think Linux already formats 512MB of the HD as swipe so with this 2GB, im not sure how to check. When i type free in the terminal, all im getting is ram/hd swipe usage.
Anyone?

K, I did it.
All it needed was restart. Then it mounted automatically.
Then I used mkswap to make it swap. ("sudo mkswap -L usbswap /dev/sdb1")

Im wondering what it will do

Well, when I try mount it it shows this

admin@ks******:~$ sudo mount -t ext3 /dev/sdb /mnt
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdb,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so

And you restarted the server since you got the flash key?

Could you have a look at the result of "dmesg | tail" and see if that sheds any light.

Hi. I get USB key installed on dedi, but it shows this error every time. What should I do? Format it to ext2/3?

Code:
Mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdb1/, missing codepage or other error
