I would recommend making the swap file double the size of your ram at only 1GB ram. If you are using >2GB ram then you could make it the same size.

standard comes with some interesting partitions . I did a reinstall and choose whatever space you want but don't forget about swap(~1GB will be good if you have 1GB of RAM).

A reinstall of the operating system where you can change the partition space would likely be the easiest option. I assume you'd rather not do that but I don't know of any other method. Someone else may be able to enlighten you.
