Interesting, it used to be a royal pain in the rear to transfer servers, used to have to fill in paperwork and such, it is awesome it is now easy, that makes things very simple

On another note, what prices are you offloading them for, I could possibly take 10+ for some interested parties (they could buy direct from you but they aren't OVH forum members or even know about this, so I may as well make $10 on the side if I can ).

I can resell mostly everything else, it's just the EG range that no one will take because i'm offering unmetered nl bandwidth for roughly same price with no setup - and they were the biggest seller by a mile, why I have so many.

How are these going as I may be interested in a few of them, was kinda just waiting to hear some feedback from users first..

Possibly some of both although I'm reluctant to use things without hardware raid, even when being generously provided, have you ever tested the performance of softraid10 on an i7-4t?

I know what you mean, I use hw raid 10 as well on my personal server, but it's not with ovh, so I can't really comment...

The only soft raid installs I have done on Kimsufi/OVH servers is RAID 0, 1 or 5 - never used 10, sorry.

Maybe another member on here could shed some light?

Yes they have the 1Gbps Switchport + Professional Usage option, no hw RAID.

Wow this is awesome... oles is going to notice a small drop in eg /max sales ...

He makes enough already - if a server has already been paid £58.74 for a setup fee to recoup hardware costs, and it's an automatic system that releases it - it's greed to charge it twice in my books.

He moaned at the turnover of the c05g servers, nothing else. I'm just doing what I can to help the loyal forum members, something Oles should be doing anyways.

85% of customers on the EG range are transferring to our .NL range.

About 25-30% of our Kimsufi customers & about 70% of the SP customers as well (Will let you all know when we're giving them away with free setup - will also have quite a few old 2008 [kimsufi/sp/eg 1gbps unmetered] ranges we'll be giving away too)

Still going to have about 130/140+ servers left with OVH by the end of the transfer process though - most of our customers have been new attractions.

Most Hybrid, MG, i7's, c05g's & sp/eg storage servers will be sticking with OVH.

So not totally jumping ship, just managed to get customers who were paying roughly the same a better deal, simple as.

65-70% of our customers are from the EU anyways... If you look on our forums, we announced this long before OVH said they were selling to US/CA/BR

We are always going to be loyal to OVH, as I said previously, without having the privilege of being a reseller we wouldn't be in this fortunate position

No, they do not.

Some had windows licences or IPs, but I spoke to Marc earlier today and straightened everything out.

Every server is standard, so they are just ready to be transferred to active OVH forum members.
