Have I been hacked?

It can be caused by toolbars that query Google as well. Don't worry about it as it should go away, but run anti-spyware anyway to be sure.

People running things like VPNs and proxys from OVH network cause loads of requests on things like YouTube.

I've had this before on a home connection. Nothing to worry about.

You've not been installed by Antivirus XP 2008 or other scareware like that then...

I searched for "youtube" in google's search engine and I got a webpage that said:

"A large volume of requests have been coming from your network. To continue, please enter the verification code below"

I have not been making a "large volume of requests".

Is it refering to the OVH network or my IP?
Have I been hacked by a google spamming bot of some kind?

I'm running Debian 5.
