I hope my suggestion is passed along, as it would be nice to received these updates properly so we're aware of data center conditions and issues.
We do most things right, so occasionally we throw a wrong'un in to keep things interesting.
I kid of course.
And what about Twitter/Facebook updates? You can make them automatic if you integrate it into the status page's coding. I doubt that is too difficult given how requested it has been in the past months. E-mail alerts to affected customers would also be helpful too, but how about we start with the basics eh?
Glad you have actually done something right, but don't stop there, keep it up.

http://twitter.com/OVHStatus
Just made a twitter and stuck the status.ovh.net twitter feed on it.
All new updates should appear on it.
Ovh uk is pleased to inform our first ever customer that you can in fact rss feed off status.ovh.net.
Yet again it would be nice if they told us via a more suitable method before they start the work, be it e-mail, SMS, an RSS feed we can subscribe to, twitter, facebook... The places we can be notified are almost endless, so OVH you have NO EXCUSES.
Despite what you may think, servers are still used in the middle of the night. My sites get constant traffic flow from worldwide so the server going offline for an hour makes me lose visitors/traffic, and if I were selling something, potential revenue as well.
If we could notify people of impending downtime then that's more fair than it just disappearing for an hour...
Please OVH get something sorted so we know about these planned incidents.
We will start the last phase on the vss-2-6k.

we are going to change
configuration. It will restart the router. It will take
between 15 and 30 minutes, until all services back.
I think it was that.
You didnt pay for support, we cant tell you!
As per the title, was there more downtime between 00:00 and 01:00 GMT this morning? My graphs confirm there was, and so do the server down messages I received from Pingdom.
Any explanation? I haven't had time to scan the status page.
