I know there is a syslog app I have installed and I just want to store the access logs to monitor it. a 3rd party site made a syslog service for windows.

I mean logs like errors with application pool (I found them in the event log)

Event logs can be found in "start > programs > administrative tools > event logs"

windows records everything in the event logs! (IIS too)

I assume you mean when people log in, or like Apache logs?

Event log should have the logins under security, Apache logs will be under whatever the log dir is (C:\apache\logs or something).

You must be confused or I must be completely ignorant.

AFAIK syslog is Linux only. Windows maintains its own logs.

What log are you trying to retrieve? About access to what?
