Good morning,

Here's the info in bulk:
-- The debit Ovh starts today. You go
Automatic able to renew the services of your choice and
the date you want. But you can always renew
BC (toll free). The automatic renewal is a
payment option that you can activate and deactivate a 3 clicks
without any obligation to send us letters.

-- We believe the launch VoIP services this week. We are
in the process of refining the final settings. We will propose 2
Services: SIP accounts and phones "all inclusive" we
will send you by Chronopost. Once received, the phone is
operational in less than 3 minutes. Just connect it to
an ADSL router and configure alone. Then you can call
and receive calls in the second which follows.

-- The host 2008 is a last line as well. We
test 2 weeks since apache 2.2 on 60free and it happens
well. The next step: 1000gp, then 60gp then other plans.
Once we have an apache 2.2 in production, we will
to run the mutu 2008 (finally 2009 ...). The aim is to
offer quality accommodation with the very strong SLA
and offer unlimited accommodation (in traffic per month
data storage) noSLA.

-- A beta MoM is expected this week. The MoM is a
Windows software that allows you to manage your services at
Ovh without passing through the Manager. It is simple and fast in
use. In its final version, it will integrate all
qu'Ovh services offered. It lets you set up
Custom your phone, monitor the activity of your server
dedicated, you can use the storage space at Ovh
better and more just to make your backups for example etc etc.

-- We are finalizing the commands of our European network. Everything is
loan except in the datacentre in Warsaw where we have problems
to order a bay. It continues to seek.
The network will pass through Amsterdam, Warsaw, Prague, Vienna, Milan
Zurick and Madrid through 3 loops completely redundant. We
also plan to increase the transit capacity.

-- We are putting the final adjustments to network 2008
your future to interconnect servers to the whole backbone that
put in place in 11 European capitals. We selected
configuration Cisco sup720 CXL configuration VSS, but
product does not yet have IPv6, QoS port policy
and updating IOS 3 minutes causes of breakdowns. At the end of December
All this will be resolved in the new version of IOS. A problem
timing.

-- We received (and unpacked) hardware for our project "Chtix."
This project will propose vlan to interconnect to (almost)
all peering points in Europe, without deploying network
Europe and for a very interesting price of 100Euro to 100Mbps.
We are developing the infrastructure that will work in MPLS.

-- We start transit 100Mbps for 100Euro soon as the east Chtix
in place in 11 capitals in Europe. The goal is to help
AS small to grow and therefore to offer these small networks
services that only the major networks can benefit
currently.

-- Yesterday we did the tests of generators in the
configuration 4x2.2MVA syncro. It works. We are working now
on generators for the new datacentre Roubaix 2.

-- We started work in the datacentre Roubaix 2. At the same
time we are working on a new version of green room
to be more innovative. The purpose of these rooms is to
manage air conditioning otherwise. Instead of running
air conditioning 12 months of the year, our infrastructure uses
air conditioners 2 months a year and only during the night,
equivalent to 1 month per year. Either 1 / 12 in relation to infrastructure
usual. How? We produce cold at night and we
store in the enormous swimming pools for use during the day.

-- The datacentre DC1 starts in a few days. We will propose
especially 1U/3U and 1 / 4 berries in this datacentre with 100Mbps.
The goal is to offer the service to a wide audience of customers and
enable the greatest number of customers to start for housing
Cheap. Regarding 1 / 2 and 1 / 1 berries, we're in
all datacentres in Paris (or courses) and we can propose
bandwidth 100Mbps for 100Euro.

-- After, PL, UK, ES, we will start within a few weeks IT.

Yours
Octave

Hello,

Here a bunch of info:

- The direct debit option starts today at ovh.com (it's coming soon at ovh.co.uk). You will be able to automatically renew the services of your choice and on the date of your choice. But you will still be able to renew your services with your credit card (and with no additional fee). The automatic renewal is a payment option that you can activate or deactivate in 3 clicks without any obligation to send us registered mail.

- We intend to launch the VoIP services this week at ovh.com. We are currently finalizing the service. We will propose 2 services: SIP accounts and "all inclusive" phones that we will send you by Express couriers. Once received the phone is operationnal in less than 3 minutes. You just need to connect it to an ADSL router and it configures itself. Then you can make and receive calls the next second.

- 2008 web hosting is nearly done. We have been testing apache 2.2 on the 60free plan for 2 weeks and it's going pretty well. The next step: 1000gp, then 60gp, then other plans. Once we have apache 2.2 in production, we will be able to launch the 2008 web hostings (actually I mean 2009.....). The aim is to offer you quality web hosting with a very strong SLA and to offer you unlimited hosting (in terms of traffic per month and data storage) in noSLA.

- A beta version of MoM is planned this week. MoM is software under Windows that enables you to manage your services at Ovh without using your Manager. It is simple and quick to use. In its finale version, it will integrate all the services that Ovh propose. It will enable you to configure personalised keys for your phone, monitor the activity of your dedicated servers, optimise the use of your storage space at Ovh and to simplify the process of carrying out tasks like backups etc.

- We are finalizing the orders for our European network. Everything is ready except the datacenter in Varsovie, where we have some problems to order a rack. We continue to look for it. The network will go through Amsterdam, Varsovie, Prague, Vienne, Milan, Zurick and Madrid through 3 totally iterative loops. We plan also to increase transit capacity.

- We are finalizing the 2008 network in order to interconnect your future servers to all the new backbone that we are putting in place in 11 European capitals. We have selected the Cisco sup720 CXL configuration with VSS, but it doesn't yet allow IPv6, QoS in port policy and the update of IOS cause 3 minutes of breakdown. By end of December everything will be sorted out in the new version of IOS. So, a timing problem.

- We have received (and dispatched) the hardware for our "chtix" project. This project will enable us to offer vlan to interconnect (almost) all peering points in Europe without deploying the network, and for the very interesting price of 100 euros for 100 Mbps. We are developping the infrastructure that will work in MPLS.

- We are starting the 100 Mbps transit for 100 euros as soon as Chtix is in place in the 11 capitals in Europe. The aim is to help the small AS to grow and then to propose to these small networks some services that only the big networks can currently benefit from.

- Yesterday, we tested the generators in the 4x2.2MVA syncro configuration. It works. We are now working on generators for the new datacenter Roubaix 2.

- We started work on the datacentre Roubaix 2. At the same time, we are working on a new version of ecological room that will be more innovative. The aim of these room is to manage the air conditioning in a different way. Instead of using the air conditioning 12 months a year, our infrastructure uses it 2 months per month and only at night time, i.e. one month a year. Therefore 1/12 in comparison with an usual infrastructure. How? At night we 'store cold' in huge reserves to use it all day long.

- The datacentre DC1 starts in a few days. We are going to specially propose the 1U/3U and 1/4 rack in this datacentre with 100Mbps. The aim is to offer the service to a large public and to enable a large number of customers to start in housing at a cheap price. Regarding 1/2 and 1/1 racks, we are (or will be) present in all datacentres in Paris and we can propose the 100Mbps bandwidth for 100Euros.

- After de, pl, uk and es, we are going to start in a few weeks it.

Regards,

Octave
