Rebooting: Is this done manually, due to rescue mode or "magically" for unexplained reasons?

Fragmented HDD's: So you're using Windows on all the affected machines?

IP attacks: How have you been made aware of this, and what does the attack involve? (ie, port scans, flooding/DoS, brute force SSH attacks, etc).

... Trying to get a better picture of how to help

Monitoring does pick up that servers have gone down - I normally have about 20 emails from them in the morning when I get up!

But nothing to say that there's any attack, simply that it doesn't ping.

I did mean attacking - although the Kimsufi start up fee, like many other reasons, was put in place to counteract this abuse. However, that's not to say that these servers are not compromised, that's why they could be attacking randomly - then again, OVH's monitoring should come into play if servers are compromised.

Do you mean the servers that are attacking? or the servers being attacked.

Some of the servers being attacked are Kimsufi - but not all.

Has anyone had increased problems over the past few days?

Since the major outage a few days ago we're having major problems over a series of servers.

At least 4 of our servers have been directly affected.

Problems:

Rebooting (4-5 times a day)
HDD badly fragmented (might be a coincidence)
IP attacks from IPs listed as OVH Systems
Putting itself into rescue mode

I've rung them and get the usual 'put it into rescue mode and run the tests'

I'm looking for a little more support than that!!
