I'm having a very strange similar issue. When I start a particular process disk IO goes to 100% but network stays almost none!

i just bought another server from ovh kimisufi range, but now im getting a issue.
when i go to system monitor in ubuntu, i get that im sending and receiving at 0 bytes.
at first i thought os problem so i installed another edition and its the same, any ideas how i can fix this. i havent changed any system files or installed anything that could cause this,
any ideas.
