Rescue Mode

Thanks guys.. I had already done the command from rescue mode and it showed all the cores there like it should, just wasn't sure on the web based tests as there is a gap there which made me think it should show both CPU's and maybe even run a test for each..

login via SSH as root
and run the command
/bin/grep CPU /proc/cpuinfo| wc -l

that should show you how many cores you got.

Thats right, 1 picture 1 test. it isn't actually based on the number of cpus, but the number of cores (and the test detects and runs 1 for each core).

Just a quick questions if any one knows the answer.

I have put my MG server (dual quad core_) into rescue mode to run some tests on the hardware, but the CPU tests only show one picture of the cpu and one test to run. Is this correct or should it be showing 2 pics and 2 tests to run???
