The .DK domain name

yeah indeed, and I have never heard about such requiremend.

the SIDN (for example, .NL) checks your DNS if it is configured correctly, but not with a contract.

further I like to add, you must sign a contract for maintaining nameservers, but I was not questioned for providing them with a example zone (I had the domain I wanted to register allready configured in DNS).

That's a bit of a weird requirement.

Ok I have registered a .DK domain.

To use your own nameservers you must sign a contract that you can maintain nameservers.
The contract was (for me) processed the same day as it was faxed to DK-Hostmaster.

After that you can register any domain you want, without paper work (or use OVH nameservers)

Hello,

The official extension for Denmark is available for all
without restriction.

Some technical specifications for .DK:

- The owner should validate their domain name from the register
of .DK within 3 months of the establishment;

- DNS must be validated by the .DK registry or you
can simply use the DNS OVH.
