Ubuntu Desktop 10.04 OVH Manager Install

You dont have to generate a key with the v3 manager, you only have to use the username and Password provided in the email that was sent to you after the installation.

The Ubuntu 10.4 installation works fine here.

Check this guide for some notes:

it's for connection to the cloud VM for Ubuntu Desktop, but it should be pretty similar.

I login to the OVH manager and reinstall the server to 10.04 which is ment to have x2go installed but it doesnt seem to because there is no way of logging into it

I am just wondering about the ready to go OVH manager install of ubuntu desktop 10.04.
It says with x2go.

So i installed via the manager, tried to connect with the x2go client and no go, can connect via ssh etc but cant connect to desktop.

Can anyone advise what the issue is and how to connect as I am completely lost lol.

I would have thought it would have just been like the ubuntu desktop 8.04 install apart from swapping nx client to x2go.

Now i know its not just an issue with this 1 install as have tried it on a few servers but always end up giving up!
