I say, suspend his/her account, and terminate the contract.

When I launch my future free hosting service, the first thing I do is preventing spam

I know, but as an example ...

Code:
SBL85075 94.23.242.159/32	ovh.net

20-Jan-2010 02:10 GMT REPEAT SPAMMER Spam Source ("conceptorganisation.eu")
... since 20th of January and still has an MX at OVH?

It is also true that the webmail providers are not on that list but only what they class as 'ISP's'

Yea but OVH is also one of the largest providers in the world.... You'll notice gmail isn't on that list even though IT is faaaaar larger than any of those.

Amusingly Comcast is missing from that list, it is actually a very large one as well.

OVH can't scan every site or packet.

Simply to many of them, and sometimes encrypted...

Hi

It is public knowledge that data, the sites listed their are from dedicated servers and our shared hosting platform which is in the several million hosted sites. The sites have generally been hacked and were legitimate before this, but it is a constant attack and we rely on people sending emails to abuse@ovh.net

That is only 3.7%

Check out sites like bluehost hostgator and stuff like that

While checking some of our hosted sites with Google Safe Browsing, I came across some interesting findings within the OVH network:

http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/d...?site=AS:16276

I guess this is more dedicated servers than anything else..... I know OVH won't like me posting this, and if its deleted/locked, fair enough - however, I still think it is worthwhile to know?
