thank you, i am looking forward to hear about this topic
i have actualy built my own cluster using some SP-SSD's and Eg-SSD's with an
HG as a net disk,

Love it!

I am still waiting for some new stuff such as floating IPs ( IP-loadbalance for VPS )

keep em coming , and no NFS.. but ISCSI ! which can be attaced to actually any distro/OS , while NFS + windows = fail :< .. ( on production )

How about iscsi ?
I prefer it as a storage solution for SSD servers that needs space...

also iscsi is quite fast

what would be the preformance of NFS?

my target is on RBX-2 , my webserver is on RBX-3 , you can see the stats on top ^

will you provide the network solution within the same DC as the actual end client? or is it a single location which will work across the ovh LAN ?

Hello,

We will start the beta testing before noon tomorrow. If the subject
interests you and you wish to participate in these
tests, please subscribe to a new ml:

storage-subscribe@ml.ovh.net

Everything is ready ... we do the rest tonight ... and tomorrow
is rolled out to "go" ...

So, 3... 2...
