OVH main DNS server down?

If you want a local dns server I recommend looking into djbdns. Setup is a little trickier than bind but it's lightweight and speedy

Myatu has right. Long time ago i had the same problems. Better use
other dns servers. Now i never have dns problems A lot of dns
servers on internet you can use for free.

Somtime OVH dont resolve some sites or MX errors.

OVH's DNS servers do have poor performance. It's best to either install your own resolving DNS server (bound to 127.0.0.1, so not everyone else on the Internet starts using it), or to use a public DNS server like OpenDNS or Google Public DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as IPs).

Seemingly they think its still online according to their graphs.. It's really not for the rest of us.

I've just been having problems with resolution and then i thought about pinging the main OVH dns, which is the one im using..
