well i feel like i bought a car but the dealer hasn't given me the wheels...
it would be nice if it was stated anywhere in the registration page: You will not have control over your domain until we can be bothered to add it to your manager...

on top of that in the details of operations i see this:
Creation date : 2010-12-29 22:33:23
Date of the next passage : 2011-01-03 21:30:26

while 5 minutes ago the next passage date was: 20:29

well as by maginc:
Date of the next passage : 2011-01-03 22:31:26

seems like the announcements from ryanair: your flight has 15 delays, and after 15 minutes they tell you 15 minutes delays up to a 4 hours total

Strange, I used my own dns servers and it was online (on the right ip's) right away...

when you use the default nameservers it will take 5 days untill you can use it, yes.
(OVH register domains with a parking system)

If you had used custom nameservers, you can use it right away.

well i need the domain for a website that will be hosted elsewhere, i did set the NS to be used when registering but it's still not working and a ping on the domain gives back parking1.ovh.net which obviously is not where i need it to be :\

kind of ridiculos that it takes 5 days to appear anyway...

it takes 5 days before it appears in manager

but the domain works

I have also 1 .it
but registered on my own dns servers

edit: you can register your domain WITH YOUR OWN ADDRESS DATA AND NATIONALITY

Did you set the contacts to your NIC handle? Since you mentioned you had to enter your nationality, you may have accidentally created a new one...

Check the email address you entered when registering and see if that's the case.

how long does it normally take for ovh to add the domain in the manager?

sounds too strange that after 36 hours still nothing appears...

Hi,

i ordered a .it domain name yesterday, after some 14 hours i finally received the confirmation that the application has been accepted and the domain is now marked as status ok from nic.it however it still doesn't show in my manager.

I also noticed that while registering i was asked about my nationality and i entered italian and nation italy including my italian tax code but on the email i received this came up:

Nation: GB
Nazionality: GB

the tax code area reflect the correct tax code.

How do i add the domain to the manager?
