Yeah Marks that is indeed cheap. I have seen SSL offered elsewhere for not much change from £50.

i only wanted one to play with SSL, it is not anything mission critical.

the free SSL certificate is only when you register a domain. In that case, with the registration, you get a free SSL

You've got the option of the :

Standard certificate for 12 month 11.99 GBP

which is also very cheap provided that you host the domain in an OVH servers or a Business/Premium web hosting package.

Hi

I have a .co.uk registered with yourselves and just saw the free SSL certificate offer.

As far as I can tell I meet the requirements:
[x] Offer only valid with the domain names hosted on a dedicated server - hosted on a dedicated server (kimsufi)
[x] Domain name is registered with OVH (whois shows OVH as the registrar)

When I come to the actual order I am referred to my manager to do the "New SSL authentication"

Step 2/3: verification and validation of information
Please check the following information and accept the terms and conditions related to domain names.

Full name of the site to secure:
https://labby.co.uk

Choice of certificate:
The site to secure is not compatible with the Standard Offer Free Certificate.
What else do I need to be able to get the free SSL certificate?
