It seems that Plesk does 9.5 does not like PHP 5.3. It destroyed Plesk and I've had to repair the Plesk install. Luckly it has not done any damage.

So lesson learnt there check first.

Hi

If you have SSH Access you can restart Plesk via, http://kb.parallels.com/118

See what error it gives you when you restart.

Have done a full reboot, still no joy. Sites appear to work, however I cannot access the control panel.

Hi

You could try an Apache restart first, it will then give you an error if there is a problem. So better than a reboot.

Running forums, wordpress sites and joomla sites.
All run fine

The upgrade seems to of worked, however I cannot log into the control panel via the HTTPS address. All the sites still seem to work ok.

Any ideas?

It is a live server with active domains on it.

Is your server a Live server with active domains etc on it, or did you complete this upgrade as test on an empty server?

Yes apologies, I will post the errors.

I need the upgrade as I have additional items that now need the newer PHP.

Hi

You can upgrade PHP, a blogger has created a script to upgrade PHP, http://pbjots.blogspot.com/2008/03/y...-on-plesk.html

Is it possible to upgrade the version of PHP I have installed on my dedicated server? I'm using Plesk 9.5.4 and the PHP is V5.16
