No, it's available without additional costs if you have a EG/MG/HG server.

Octave,
On another thread about IPs for the Kimsufi range, you said they wouldn't be made available, as you did not want to have "add-ons" to accounts, and the price of the server prohibited them from being added to this range

However, if I am reading the above correctly, this VPS side of things is an "add-on" to an existing account, where there is an extra payment for additional functionality/services

...so how about additional IPs for the Kimsufi range as an "add-on"?

The superplan servers come with 4 failover-IPs, that would be enough for 4 VMs - depends on what your real needs are... (powerful VMs <==> many VMs)

Felix

Aww bummer, was thinking about bumping my kimsufi xl (Right now running 3 vms with NAT and such) to a superplan and getting 16 extra IPs. May need to rethink that

Do only the pro plans get more IP's? I see the Superplan comes with the same base ips, does it get the additional blocks? I assume that none of the kimisufis will?

Hello, After the RPS (RealPrivateServer), we launch the VPS (VirtualPrivateServer) starting from only 4.63Euro HT/mois for 1/10 of the power d' Core! We only propose the VPS for the retailers. C' is to be said that us prepared the Linux distributions ready with l' employment that you install on your dedicated waiter and you start on the market of the VPS with the configurations personalisables at 100% and one simplified ultra management. To propose VPS with your customers, it is enough: - to take a waiter at Ovh - with the distribution of virtualisation of your choice (Xen, Proxmox, Wmware) - to hang the IP failover - to click 3 times to create a VPS - to send the codes d' access to the VPS with your customer Simple, fast and not expensive: the distributions are free. You only pay the cost of the hiring of the dedicated waiter! For the VPS, we advise you d' to use the waiters of the range pro c' is to be said the EG/MG and HG. But if you wish to use Kimsufi, you can of course. On the other hand with the range pro, You have a waiter with a CPU powerful (Dual Core, Quad Core and 2x Quad Core) with much of RAM (4Go, 8Go or 16Go) in 1Gbps and with 16 IP, 32 IP or 64 free IP failover!! You have the choice between 3 distributions ready with l' employ: Xen, Proxmox and Wmware. You can install a VPS under Linux, FreeBSD or Windows. We have included small comparative between these 3 distributions. We put on our site some examples of configuration in VPS where us estimated that to propose a power of < calculates; with 1/10 d' Core n' is not interesting for the final customer. Approximately, that rows. We tried to propose configurations full performance with much of RAM and much d' space disc. Thus, the prices d' a VPS varies between 4.63Euro HT/mois/VPS jusqu' with 41.63Euro HT/mois/VPS. You can of course personalize at will your configuration. This n' is qu' an example. You can also use the IP which you have free with the waiters EG, MG, HG for d' other projects related to the virtualisation. With these offers of virtualisation, we hope to start again the VPS on the market in Europe. Indeed, currently only certain shelterers propose them VPS. However, the VPS this n' is not complicated. Not more qu' a site lodged on Release 1:3 clicks and c' is made. In a friendly way Octave

Hello,

After the RPS (RealPrivateServer), we are launching the VPS (VirtualPrivateServer) from only £4.63 +VAT/ month, for 1/10 OF the power of a Core!

We will be offering the VPS for resellers only. This means that we have already prepared the ready to use Linux distributions that you install on your dedicated server. You will start on the VPS market with 100% customizable configurations and management which is ultra simplified.

To offer VPS to your customers, you just need to:

- take a server at OVH
- with the distribution of virtualization of your choice (Xen, Proxmox, Wmware)
- hang IP failover
- click 3 times to create a VPS
- send the access codes to the VPS to your customer..so its simple, fast and cheap and distributions are free. You only pay for the lease of the dedicated server!

For the VPS, we advise you to use the servers of the pro range, ie EG / MG and HG. If you want to use the Kimsufi you can of course. However with the pro range, you have a server with a powerful CPU (Dual Core, Quad Core and 2x Quad Core) with lots of RAM (4GB, 8GB or 16GB) in 1Gbps and with 16 IP, 32 IP or 64 IP free failover!

You have the choice between 3 ready to use distributions: Xen, Proxmox and Wmware. You can install the VPS under Linux, FreeBSD or Windows. We will include a small comparison between these 3 distributions.

We will put a few examples of the configuration of our site for the VPS. We have estimated that to propose a processing power <1 / 10 of a Core is not very interesting for the final customer. Basically, it's quite slow. We tried to propose full performance configurations with lots of RAM and plenty of disk space. Thus, the price of a VPS vary between 4.63pounds +vat / month / VPS to 41.63 pounds +vat / month / VPS. Of course, you can customize it with your own configuration. This is just one example.

You can also use the IP that you get free with your EG, MG, HG servers for other projects related to virtualization.

With these virtualization offers we hope to relaunch the VPS on the market in Europe. Indeed, currently only some hosts offer VPS. However, the VPS is not complicated. No more than a site hosted on the Release 1: 3 clicks and you're done.

Regards,

Octave
