there website has been down for days. my systems are i7's but this is the first venture for me in kernel manipulation.

i just sucessfully did a ovh kernal 1000hz... and didnt achieve what i wanted.

Ok for the first time i am going to optimise kernal for i7 system with centos v5

i would like feedback on how to do this based on the kind of kernal that i need.

i need a kernal that will achieve 1000 FPS for game servers. I dont know how to install kernals but i have good knoledge on ssh.

i thought it would be a good idea for me to post here and get some quality feedbacks on how to and which kernal is idea.

secondly will it affect any services that are already on the system
