To delete raid one use...

MegaCli -CfgLdDel L0 -a0

However re-install will fail so not sure of additional commands needed

Hi,

Is there any way to disable megaraid so that we can use both drives as separate devices?

Alright figured it out myself. Using the correct IDs I managed to pull it off, yay

------------------------------------------------------------
root@rescue:~# MegaCli -PdList -aALL | egrep -i "Adapter|Slot|Device ID" | perl -pe's/^(Enclosure DeviceID|Slot Number): (\d+)\s$/$2\t/' | perl -pe 's/Device Id ://' | perl -pe 's/(^Adapter.*$)/\n$1\n\nEnclId\tSlot\tId\n--------------------- /'

Adapter #0

EnclId Slot Id
---------------------
Enclosure Device ID:
252 0 4
Enclosure Device ID:
252 1 6
Enclosure Device ID:
252 2 7
Enclosure Device ID:
252 3 5

2x 3TB still missing. 2x 40GB SSD is there (RAID 0)

Command: MegaCli64 -CfgDsply -aALL

Command: cfdisk

Command: fdisk -l

Command: df -h

Alright, after some attempts the SSD drives are now in RAID 0. But now the 2x 3TB hard drives are no longer detected. How to add that back?

with the command line utility tool for MegaRaid (usable in rescue mode), you can do any configuration you want and then relaunch the installation on the new layout you've done.

In any case, any configuration you do is at your own risk. Unfortunately, these personalizations are not supported by OVH.

In any case, if you have any doubt, let us know and we'll try to give as much help as we can.

you should use the MegaCli tool for megaraid.

example:

MegaCli64 -CfgDsply -aALL

Anyone figured this out? I have tried every config utility mentioned in the forum without success.

lsiutil gives me this:

root@rescue:~# lsiutil
LSI Logic MPT Configuration Utility, Version 1.56, March 19, 2008

0 MPT Ports found
