OVH servers use GRUB rather than lilo now. It's grub.conf (/boot/grub/grub.conf) that you need to edit.

Heya guys,

Recently got myself a Kimsufi 16G.
Im running ubuntu desktop 10.04 as im going to be using it for gns3 and vmware while im going thorugh my ccna, only thing im currently having problems with is compiling a kernel so i can use vmware server..

Iv been following this tut -

http://forum.ovh.co.uk/showthread.php?t=933

But its over 3 years old and im failing at finding lilo.conf to make the change.

Just wondering if someone can point me in the right drection to compile a 64bit kernel that can load the vmware modules?

Cheers
