Yeah I ordered one the other day, payment went through but never got the server details - when I got in touch they told me that I'd already ordered my limit.
I think it would be better if OVH had a system where they actually told us if a server can't be ordered rather than just taking the money and waiting for the customer to get in touch.

The is a fantastic idea as some people do expand and require servers on a monthly basis.
We got stung last month when we ordered our third server without realizing there was a limitation of two per month. I have never heard of anything like this before from any other data center.
The worst thing about it is that orders do go through as normal and you only find out a few days later that you cannot purchase the server and must wait for next month or pay 12 months upfront which is ridiculous.
Please at least make the limit higher at like 5 to 10 a month or totally remove it, and I understand if KIMI servers are not included in this change.

Well the Kimsufis are cheap so I can see someone ordering a bunch, doing some nasty stuff and then leaving OVH with a bunch of servers they might not need.

The Limitation of 2 Servers Per Month (English Translation)
Hello,
Currently you are entitled to order a maximum of 2 servers per month while enjoying monthly payment and without setup fees.
This limit allows us to manage growth, always have servers available in 1 hour and avoid the risk of selling customers too many servers with no contract (leaving us with all the risk).
Basically this limit allows us to go peacefully and deliver you 5000-6000 servers per month.
We're now looking at how we could remove this limit and more importantly go beyond 5000-6000 servers sold per month.
After a lot of reflection, statistics, planning, risk assessment, etc etc, we think we can do away with the limit on the SuperPlan, EG, MG and HG ranges.
Thus you can propose to rent a couple of dozen servers for 'pro activities' reselling (Web hosting, email, VPS).
The Kimsufi will certainly remain, as today, limited at 2 servers per month.
I will give myself 10 days to make the decision

clients qui voudraient faire les activités trop risquées sans prendre
aucun risque (ou en voulant passer le risque sur ovh). En gros, cette
limitation nous permet d'aller tranquilement et vous livrer 5000-6000

Nous sommes en train de regarder comment on pourrait vous proposer une

on va certainement rester comme aujourd'hui sur 2 serveurs par mois.
On va se donner encore une 10ène de jours pour prendre la decision.
