Yup I did raise this as a ticket the response I got was

Hi,

It does indeed seem there is some kind of a saturation problem, we're waiting on some new developments at our London link and hope to get more information regarding this.

I'll be sure to reply to you once I know more information.

Regards,

Neil

Last night graph clearly shows that I was seeing around 11% packet loss at one point (http://vm1.drefsab.co.uk/cgi-bin/smo...t=Net.Echo_Zen)

Tonight is showing over 13% loss, (http://vm1.drefsab.co.uk/cgi-bin/smo...t=Net.Echo_Zen).

This image take at 22:15 on the 7/02/12 shows all the london links on OVH's network maxed http://vm1.drefsab.co.uk/070212.png. Every time this happens the network weather map shows the same thing.

As we speak im trying to FTP a backup of just over 4gb in size to my local pc, im on a home broadband 100mbit connection and my server which should be on the same and more 1gig nic with 100mbit on the switch etc and get I cant transfer more than about 800KB/s. My traffic graphs show this is all my servers doing.

My home connection is testing fine on other sites, but to rule things out I tried from work on a 10Gbit link and get the same results (it helps working at an ISP).

I used to see the odd bit of packet loss in the evenings but it was never more than a couple of percent and it didnt really impact on the service level at all. But now in the last 3 nights every evening services basically are becoming unusable until your network capacity load comes down.
Hi

You should open a ticket, you should not get any packetloss and from the UK office you do right now:

Yea it'd be due to megaupload failure then. Takes time to provision more links, give them a few weeks

I've had multiple complaints from customers of the exact issue describe, and as pointed out network saturation seems to be the cause.

I've been having loads of problems this evening with my KS24G server in terms of network performance latency etc.

All my own diagnostics show the server itself if fine its not over utilized in any way so looking at the OVH weathermap (http://weathermap.ovh.net/europe) I see a possible issue. All of the links for data from Roubaix to london are showing red for being maxed/near maxed, Roubaix to amasterdam doesn't look much better, at least some of those links are amber, Roubaix to bruxelles and roubaix to paris also seams to be heavily loaded.

Its certainly appears to be a major problem and I can't even keep a 500kbps stream to myserver going without my connection dropping in and out.
