Hello,
It's been six months that we have not update the kernel. It must be said that the branch 2.6.38 will be remembered for guarantee of stability and reliability.
However, developers have outdone themselves in recent months and new kernel versions have followed quickly!
From now on, the servers will be delivered with 3.2.13 for all distributions that ship OVH kernel.
To install, you can use the Netboot or Rescue Mode
ftp://ftp.ovh.net/made-in-ovh/bzImage/ binary, for example:
ftp://ftp.ovh.net/made-in-ovh/bzImag...xx-grs-ipv6-64
Or you can recompile for yourself with the config:
ftp://ftp.ovh.net/made-in-ovh/bzImag...xx-std-ipv6-64
As usual, we propose variants grsecurity
(http://grsecurity.net) and 1000Hz (low latency).
It would appear that this new kernel is more efficient, we expect your feedback!
