well, there is a smaller block assigned to the server. Just check that if that's part of the block you need removed. Just make sure you explain it to the support.

Yeah the IP's cant be blacklisted as they are Free RIPE Failover IP's, meaning they have not been assigned an IP block yet.

there might be a misunderstanding because of the language. FR support doesn't normally take emails in English.

If you want English support, contact support@ovh.ie

I don't think there would be any problem on getting that block removed. Though, as they mention, make sure that the IPs don't have any blacklisting, like in here:

I had to create a /29 block for my server to get it runing again.

On my account i now have 24 RIP Faileover ip adresses available.

On my billing, i am billed this:

Mise à disposition de 32 IP FailOver RIPE expire le 04-05-2012

Shouldn't this be 8 IP FailOver RIPE?

The 24 free RIPE Does NOT have any ip adresses asigned from RIPE! They can therefore NOT have any reverse, vmac or can be blacklisted.

I just want to remove those 24 unspent RIPE Adresses from the server and being billed for the 8 i have i use now!

How do i do that? I cant se an option in the manager, and i cant order another dues to the max limit of IP's on kimsufi is 32, and it's at max now.

I want to reduce the number of RIPE IP Failover adresses to 8 that is billed on my server, can i do that or do you have to do it from your location?

If you must do it, could you please reduce it to 8.
