In that case simply change the default rule to authorised rather than authorised+mail

I have to add my ip address to the manager in order to stop receiving notifications by email. This email only tells me that someone has logged in, i just want to turn it off.

You don't need to set it up, by default it is set to authorised and email, so it allows the IP and then emails by default which is the behaviour you are experiencing.

If you have a static IP address you can add it with the simple authorise, rather than authorise+email.

You can then decide how you want to deal with other IPs not in your list.

My ip isn't in there, its empty. though i don't recall doing this to set it up...

1) Login: https://www.ovh.co.uk/managerv3/login.pl
2) Under "Actions" below your server list, select "Administration".
3) In the "Administration" menu on the left select "My settings".
4) Under "Security" select "Access restriction".

Check the default action isn't to send an e-mail and the list rules.

Hi all

For some reason i have turned on email notifications so that when i login to the ovh manager i get emailed of the login. Now my problem is i cant seem to find where to turn it off.

Can someone help me with this minor problem. hehe
