OVh ftp backup cant delete files (Disk quota exceeded)

If you need to delete a lot of files use the mdelete command that works.

Example: to delete all files in a folder, go in site that folder and use the command: mdelete *.* (That deletes all files.)

Or if you only like to delete some documents use command mdelete *.doc

Ow aha i did try again now the problem is gone While i did exactly the same delete command ? So for some reason if your OVH backup gets to the limit it blocks the delete command ? And hours later it seems to work ? Dont make sense ? But ok problem solved.

But thats not the problem. I also cant delete a file individually.

Problem is i cant delete a single file. Yes i know the help command.
but normally the delete command would work for a single file now an error. ftp server respons with:

cant delete files Disk quota exceeded.

have you tried connecting to the ftp server and running a site HELP command?
to remove a directory you should use "rmdir"

OVh ftp backup cant delete files (Disk quota exceeded)

I need to delete some files. Looks i made a mistake by putting to much
data on it. Now when i try to delete some files i get a error:

cant delete files (Disk quota exceeded)

Must i contact support ? Or is there a other way to fix this ?
