yes, sure! it was a bug on the creation of a new exchange host. As we deploy more and more individual exchange accounts, we create new exchange hosts for them. There had been a bug that made this new host not published on our whitelist of mail servers. That's all.

As soon as the error was first reported through the ticket system, it was corrected.

Sorry for any inconvenience, though it was sorted very quick and it's not likely to be a recurring problem, at all.

hey, crowarth!

yes, we had some issues regarding the exchange server xc93.mail.ovh.net. Another customer's opened a ticket about the issue and our engineers have fixed it for all of you.

Could you confirm it, please?

it seems it's mo20.mail-out.ovh. that's refusing to forward the mail on. mail comes in just fine but i always receive this as the reply when sending anything to anywhere:

the MX, SRV, and SPF records are as follows:

It's an exchange based account; there's nowhere for that sort of setting to go is there? it all goes via the exchange server which facilitates send/recieve as far as im aware.

With POP or IMAP i would expect to see outgoing server settings, but I have never seen that with exchange

update

Currently email can be received fine. Seems it was all a case of waiting for the DNS to update. heh ..

The only problem that remains is:

Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:

Your message wasn't delivered due to a permission or security issue. It may have been rejected by a moderator, the address may only accept e-mail from certain senders, or another restriction may be preventing delivery.

Hi there

I've transferred my domain to ovh (rowarth.co.uk) but for some reason I am still able to set working A records on the old registrar (123reg). the domain comes back as being with OVH in a whois however.

Also, I am unable to alter the nameservers in the control panel whatsoever. entering something else appears to work but they always get set to the same (dns102 and ns102)

when I use mxtoolbox, it shows the domain has having no nameservers, and when you view the transcript it provides you see this:

http://www.mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.a...rowarth.co.uk#

0 nsd.nic.uk 156.154.103.3 NON-AUTH Recieved 2 Referrals , rcode= NS: dns102.ovh.net,NS: ns102.ovh.net,

1 dns102.ovh.net 213.251.188.146 NON-AUTH , rcode=REFUSED

1 ns102.ovh.net 213.251.128.146 NON-AUTH , rcode=REFUSED

would transferring the domain to OVH from 123reg take some time? would that be why i am unable to modify any A, MX records etc with OVH?

emails sent from the exchange OWA page return this:
