Ahhh I wondered about the arrow, normally you have colours to indicate that

yes, that's what it's meant to show. And the arrow show whether that distribution is becoming less popular or more.

Seems on all the sites, if you are in the root of the dedicated servers down the bottom right you can see a list, perhaps with the total number of those installs?
