Hi,

This is a simple method to install Xen on an OVH server running CentOS 5.8.
It takes about 20 minutes to complete the instructions and you will be able to run XenServer.

Method Works On:
SP 32G
Should work on all but not tested anymore.

Code:
########Installing Xen On CentOS 5.8 OVH########
# Requierments:

# Puutty - http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/

Step 1) Log onto your server using correct SSH details on Putty.
Step 2) Run an update on commands 'yum update && yum clean all'
Step 3) Edit 'yum.conf' - 'nano /etc/yum.conf'
Step 4) In 'yum.conf' replace 'exclude=kernel*' with '#exclude=kernel'
Step 5) Run the following command 'yum install kernel'
Step 6) Reboot server to active default kernel
Step 7) Yum install xen 'yum install xen xen-devel kernel-xen virt-manager libvirt'
Step 8) We will need to install XServer Now 'yum groupinstall "X Window System"'
Step 9) Nano '/boot/grub/grub.conf' and change 'default=1' to 'default=0'
Step 10) Reboot server again to active xen kernel
Step 11) Run 'uname -r' in SSH and check for xen kernel

Step 13) Load up XMing on your computer while you have putty SSH open to your server
