Good suggestion. My ISPs are not on any of the graphs but looking at each ISP all seem to spike around the same time each day. I'll setup something from my servers to ping the ISPs name servers and see what results I get over a few days.

My ISPs are Plusnet and Ask4 both peering to OVH via Linx if anyone happens to be on either ISP too.

Ping for the majority of the time is fine and only jumps up for around 10-15 seconds before returning to normal then going back up after a few minutes.

I'll try and get a trace route from both links when it happens next time if it goes on for long enough to complete.

Getting 27ms ping here from BE*There to my OVH server and it is going through LINX. Suggest that when this happens you do a trace route and then post it here for reference. The techs can't do anything without it as they have no idea where it's being caused otherwise.

Are there any further issues this evening with Paris GSW <> RBX?

From looking at the weathermap all outbound London links are running very hot and I have noticed ping times on my servers across two ISPs has often been going up between 200-600ms compared to a normal 20-30ms.

I have 3 game servers that do suffer due to this problem. They are kimsufi servers, do OVH have traffic prioritisation giving higher priority to OVH brand servers over Kimsufi or am I just having bad luck with my servers and it's something I have to put up with? This problem of latency spikes is something that has been going on since I got the servers about 2 months ago.

I wonder how much it cost the building firm, shows how close the surface some of these links are.

Pretty easy if you have construction work going on. Happens all the time

Looks like OVH have a big issue on there network as seen on the weathermap. half of the network is down and the other network in Roubaix is red!

I cant see anything on there status page.
