thanks, i've purchased a month of the 4.99/mo VPS to try it out. I haven't managed to put anything on it yet as just managing to figure out ssh access.

Hi

The VPS Servers are virtual servers where as the Kimsufi servers are physical unmanaged servers. The VPS Servers have an SLA, Backups and Telephony Support are just of the features that the Kimsufi servers do not have, so this makes the VPS more suitable for important websites for example where you need guarantees.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Hello,

I'm appealing to users of VPS.

I tried a Kimsurfi server (8.99/month) a few weeks ago to see if it increased the speed of my static website - and it did, very well.

But what's the difference between Kimsurfi and VPS? Aren't you just getting part of a server for a bit more per month than Kimsurfi - why not just have Kimsurfi? Does OVH backup and make secure the VPS, or is the environment similar to Kimsurfi (e.g. my static website perform better on a Kimsurfi or VPS)?

Best.
