well if they have banned ovh ip ranges then even a proxy wont get round that if the site you are trying to send to is ovh

Source works to ANY IP address - except Kimsufi/OVH. Could it be that the source site has IP Tables which ban ANY data connection from OVH ranges?

If so, should using a Socks5 proxy be able to circumvent the IP Tables?

Yes, I'm using FTPRush

Tried both ways - same problem!

How can the firewall at the other end know it's a damn OVH IP address when the Socks5 is running on an i3D.net server?

Hi,

I have three dedicated servers and until recently FTP worked just fine. but today I received an email from a site admin informing me that all OVH IPs would be banned from today.

I now receive the following error when trying to FTP to/from any of my boxes:

[1] 425 Can't build data connection: Connection refused.
[2] ABOR

Is there any way around this?
