For ESXI I was always using VM mac, which starts with 00-50-56.

I would just ask them tomorrow to take a look at the routing, I expect that is the issue.

Not sure if that will fix your info though, do you have the vmac the from the manager set on the VM? sorry can see you have now, if you ask support you can get them to take a look. I have had it before that the mac doesn't set on their routers so they have to do it manually.

Thanks macole for suggestion, I did with 255.255.255.255. Same result. Last time, when I was configuring kimsufi 16G, I didn`t have any problem with network.

it could be checked whether there is a problem with the ACL of the switch. Show us the output of ipconfig /all and we can check.

But if it's a problem on server configuration, we won't be able to do much about it.

Hello everybody,
I have some problem configuring network on xenserver. Done this on ESXi, but not on xenserver. I have created VMAC and added to my virtual machine. Guest OS is Win 7 x64.

So here are the settings I tried:

IP: ip failover
netmask: 255.255.255.255
gateway: hostip with end 254

result: don`t work

IP: ip failover
netmask: 255.255.255.0
gateway: ip failover

result: don`t work, after I open IP4 settings back gateway ip is "blank"

Does anybody have met with this and know maybe solution for this?
