Bandwidth change

Yeah, it's no biggie though, It's just a small email server so it's hardly in need of a lot of bandwidth, for it's purposes 100mbs is more than enough.

As far as I'm aware there was nothing asking to stay at 100mbs, and we've had this SP since before all these bandwidth changes/backlogs.

I'm not too worried about it I just thought it was somewhat amusing .

If you asked for special delivery of 100mbit only, then that'd be why, or otherwise yea its cos they haven't upgraded the 100mbit yet to Gbit, and therefore you can't have 200mbit.

i thnk they will be supplying all the new mSP before putting in switches to upgrade old SP, so you'll probably have a while to wait.

Oh and DC doesn't matter.

I have new mSP at all 3 RBX DC at 200Mbit.

Our SP in RBX was 100mbps, jumped to 200mbps in July, and then at the end of July when we renewed it, it dropped back down to 100mbs as soon as the contract extended .

I think OVH and still working on getting all the servers up to speed.

200Mbps is in rbx, 100Mbps is in rbx3

They are working their way through all the SP range and changing them to indeed 200Mb it might take a little time to clear all servers though.

I would assume the priority at the moment is to fulfil all orders they currently have backlogged at the moment.

Just out of interest are the servers in the same DC? Might make a difference?

Hi,

I browsed through my servers and see that one old SP has 200Mbps traffic and the newer one has 100Mbps.

Why is that, i thought all SP will get 200Mbps, no?

Cheers
