I doubt that very much, but I guess he's getting crap off everyone!
8 would have been ok but 9 is one to many
The actual responses back are not much use either way as if the money has gone out of the bank we know 'its in progress' and we read the poorly translated twitter messages before they get posted in here by them anyway.

What frustrates me is being lied to and they don't even have the balls to say sorry. I want RBX originally but selected SBG cause it said 24 hour delivery time so their misleading selling tactics has had an effect on my decisions.
I was happy today as I was expecting it today but then I just get told the Oles is blowing smoke up my ass. Its really not good enough
Your a OVH customer already so you know not to order yet. What about them poor customers that are new and ordered and thought it be 24 hours.

I completely understand your frustration. I seriously think they have just bitten off more than they can chew. Huge demand and they just can't cope and customer service has kinda gone out of the window due to too much pressure. Different members of staff saying different things, probably break down in communication on their behalf. To be honest this is a first that I've seen, usually it's great. I would just hold in a bit longer. I want to order a mSP but I'll wait for a good while before I even put the order in. Are you in some sort of rush for it?
If I'm honest, I think you'll be wasting your time with trading standards. Doubt they'll take any notice of twitter comments and twitter communication. Website now states '* Availability' delivery time 72 hours. Then * is "* : Availability subject to validation of your order and within the limits of available stocks."
The * is covering their own backs...

http://forum.ovh.co.uk/showthread.php?t=6957 I am so tempted to call up trading standards even known there offering me a refund they are still misleading on times so people don't take the refund as it takes just as long as the server.

I wouldn't because you may just end up betting even more frustrated. I honestly don't think that they will say anything that will put your mind at rest.

Agreed,
If you order a professional server you should expect to get it as promised or at least be properly updated on whats going on.
Kimi's used to have support according to one of the other threads on here. The support has been removed to bring down the price which is fair enough. You need to have a server to need support anyway ha

I been using OVH from beginning of last year and I was always under the impression kimsufi was so cheap as it always came with no support only level 1 incidents. Your not losing a lot as I got a professional server and they cannot give a ETA to them. At least kimsufi users getting there servers quicker I know someone ordered on the 29th and still haven't got there mSP.
You cannot really complain about getting no support for a £3 server however I do agree that you should still be able to ring up about billing as its there choice not to say nothing on the website about the backlog.

However, as TZ-OVH said I think they're doing so much and the forum is the last on the list. It seems few people doing a lot of work. If kimsufi support stays as forum only, I think they need more staff
They may have shot themselves in the foot with offering the really cheap server. More support requests so I guess that's why they have said forum only.
The offer that OVH have come up with is fantastic and I definitely scored an own goal by limiting how many they sold and waiting so long before they closed the doors. It has just meant that there are more people feeling a bit frustrated by whats going on.
I think we still have to remember that I am sure that plan would be that by getting us on board with the Kimi's we will learn to love OVH and order professional use servers once we are done testing. However it even seems that people purchasing £40 a month servers are coming across a few issues.
I don't think they need more staff as the questions that people are asking are not really technical they are just people asking how long they have to wait. The answer to everyone is the same 'your order is fine' rather than 'we are up to orders that were taken on the 27th and we hope to have these completed within the next 7 days'. That would probably stop the majority of questions as we would have some idea of whats going on.
I think they are doing what they can with the information that they are given.

I can also see how they need to prioritise the 'OVH' service customers, because if you are paying £200+ a month for a server you would want priority over someone paying £2.49.

It was a light hearted comment based on the fact that OVH don't work weekends so there was a build up of questions over 3 days from many users and it seemed that only 3 or 4 of the questions had a response (not necessarily and answer)
Although, if they're *not* replying to email requests and *not* answering the phone for technical queries, and *are* directing all customers to the forum ...

It certainly feels that way, but "OVH Support" for the countries here are mostly a crew of what appears to be 3-4 people doing lots of things...so can't blame them for putting the forum last on their list.
Yep. I think that's what he's implying. Looking at the evidence, I think it's a fair comment!
