I can confirm for you that the after the router was thoroughly tested, no problems were found with it or the server.

Having carried out a full hardware check on your server and checked the network connections linking to it, there were no issues found. We would only be able to replace the server if our thorough tests detected a problem.

Hello,
I'll make an hardware diagnosis intervention on the motherboard and on the NIC and anything else you want to check for you, but I'll need you to tell me when to do that, as the server will be down by that time. You can just answer to the email sent on customer support for telling me precisely what are your needs.

Don't forget it's a Sunday and I think somebody said before that people in France do not work on a Sunday. Having said that though Oles is usually around on a Sunday so just give him some time.
Can someone get back to me

Yeh but they close at weekends which is pretty useless for support issues. Thats what im saying event logs show nothing, I am MCP Certifed in 70-290 Managing and Maintaing a Windows 2003 Server. (What a mouthful) And they seem to be taking me for a mug.

You must be doing something wrong then because although the automated reply is in French if you click the link in the email you receive then you'll be able to view the reply to your support request. It is on the French website but a new support system is being developed for the UK website and Sophie said that it should be available by the end of this month.
If you go through the event logs on your server you may be able to find what is causing the problems.

In their defence they've always replied to my emails and usually quite quickly. Don't forget you can also speak to somebody at OVH on the phone and they're based in the UK.

Hi,
I can only sing OVH's praises for the speed of there network, but for the past week ive had this server it dies atleast 5-10 times a day doing silly tasks like logging on and download windows updates. Infact anything you do with it it dies, have done a OS reload still not fixed. Support keep asking for proof its there hardware thats at fault, well surely they should be investigating this for me?
Regards,
Jamie
