What truly annoys me is before the release of these 2G's, we had a good forum here. Now all of sudden we have an influx of trolls.

It used to tell you it was under the char minimum... leave it to them to remove the minimum warning and make you go in circles

As K.Kode has pointed out there is a minimum 4 character limitation. Quite a few forums have this limitation.
I expect the logic behind it, is to lighten the load on the server but it would be nice for the search function to actually tell you whats going on.
Probably just an incorrect error for search limitation (4+ chars).
I've had this issue before, figure its about time to report it:

But for a fact there are many posts with the word "VAC" in them. Note that it doesn't report that its too common a word and hence produces no result (like when you try and search for "£1").
