I spent an hour yesterday reading through part of the volumedrive thread before i decided to skip to the end and saw it was still in 2013, came back and realised a spammer had resurrected an old thread, doh

The TOS states that any illegal filesharing is not allowed, there is nothing against using torrents for legal purposes, but where in the hell do you find those :O The monitoring software is what OVH uses to monitor the state of your RPS, so you're fine.

One thing that annoys me about OVH at the moment is a couple of Kimis is better than one more expensive server, but now with forum only support this is a less valid option.

To be fair, some small businesses simply cannot afford to pay a premium price.

And bare in mind some people say the same thing about OVH.

I think the primary problem is not so much the issue of it being a cheap host, but more the fact they always seem to have no backup.. which means they had no disaster recovery plans which in it's self is their main problem.

At least with one of those, if the worst happens, you can accept your losses and move on rather than end up with nothing.

Off-Topic a bit, but, one thing I dislike about WHT (although I do frequent, it's a good laugh to read) is the amount of people asking for $1 hosts, or complaints about losing thousands in income when their site is down, then say they went for the cheapest price of a host.
