ok now we have ripe ips all put back on big server while my machines are on other servers, u can not move ripe ips to them around anymore and also they are loosing there mac addresses one by one and if you try to make a new mac it says it already has one ?? but does not show any in the control panel also they end up as a dead ip. this is getting silly OVH.

Its Still not right. I ended up with some ips on different servers, dead ips which i had to restart the servers a couple of times and redo the MAC addresses atleast twice to get to work.

one ip which is dead has no mac but when you try to give it a mac address it says its already got one LOL.

I have some ips that can not see other ips on other servers and the last big problem is I can not move any RIPE ips or fallover ips across servers. a complete **** up at the mo...

Having some issues today with one of our failover ips in RBX4, looking in our gateway logs we have this:

Aug 29 21:53:45 gw apinger: ALARM: (###.###.###.###) *** down ***
Aug 29 21:53:46 gw kernel: arp: ###.###.###.### moved from 00:07:b4:##:##:## to 00:07:b4:##.##.## on em0

(Ip and Mac Hashed out )

Goes down for a few mins than back up again (happened twice now) but the above is spammed in the system logs through out today and some of this week.

No problems for me as far as I can tell, but all my servers are in BHS RBX4 or RBX3.

Tried reinstalling OS, now it won't reboot "Reboot system temporary unavailable". Related?

I had partial downtime, one IP was offline => online => ofline => ofline => online

Don't forget to claim the SLA credit, if you entitled.

So unfair, mine doesn't have failover or additional IP's and is down :/

Code:

Its not a case of post when there backup.

We have several dozen servers and several of them are used for VMs. There all going up/down... One minute their down... next there up... then back down. Between Kimsufi Range, OVH Range etc etc.

This is effecting all kind of IPs. VM IPs, NODE IPs, VMAC IPs, DEDI SERVER IPs, RIPE BLOCKS, FAILOVERS etc etc.

Lets see how long this takes to put right and see what there response is in the morning.

Overall we have been with OVH for several years and find there monitoring fair superior than much of the competition.. They usually know of a problem before we do.

Comment by OVH - Thursday, August 29, 2013, 8:13 p.m.
we ended routers vlan 1 (70 routers)
but there is nothing wrong. OSPF process not want to go back. it is going to simplify the configuration of annocer avoid all LSA then restart the routers planted. we already have some routers UP. but much remains to be done.,
Well, hurry the f.... up please.

Not sure what they could do to make this worse TBH.

Is there a chance that someone would try and batter them with DDOS attacks?

Thing is, we have no idea how big of an issue this is, it could take time to fix, it or could be a 5 minute fix, we just don't know :-/

But even leaving a ping open i'm getting nothing from both internal from rbx4 to rbx0 and external:

External
Code:
--- ping statistics ---
11 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 10722ms

--- ping statistics ---
524 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 523092ms

--- ping statistics ---
1007 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 1006387ms
Internal:

Code:
--- ping statistics ---
117 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 116329ms
