like £0.84 + VAT is ****ing rip off!!!
can you expect them to pay £20 a month for without warning, what about for 100 servers???
it's not OVH problem, as they don't care about low budget servers.

Thanks, that makes me feel a bit better. I'll wait till tomorrow to renew mine, hopefully OVH staff will have a final answer.

Hi,
I have an old Kimsufi 16G (2011) with a couple of RIPE blocks + 3 additional IPs and a 2012 Kimsufi 8G with 2 additional IPs (some of them have been moved around between to the two).
With IPs now needing professional option for their use I am now concerned that my current IPs will be removed as there is no option for professional use on these servers, but when they were purchased you could add these options. If I had some more warning (other than this is going to change on Monday) I could move the services about a bit so the IPs were not needed. However Oles announcement (that was not even on here but posted by someone on the anti-DDOS mailing list) was vague and didn't specify what would happen to old servers (particularly Kimsufis).
When I went to renew my server today (which apparently I can't because the CC payment isn't working) I said there was a contact change, I haven't yet agreed to it as I don't know what this affects, is this still the old change from a couple of months ago or a new one? Also I saw that I could only renew my IPs for one month, should I be worried that they are going to go soon?
These announcements are really getting on my nerves, how are we supposed to plan for the future? Current servers shouldn't be affected by what Oles feels like today, I bet there are loads of people with older Kimsufis that have failover IPs that are in the same boat, and I also bet hardly any of them know about this change. Also people with 'proper' OVH servers will be affected if they have IPs and no professional option, can you expect them to pay £20 a month for without warning, what about for 100 servers???
I would really like it for someone to clarify what is going on with these IPs! I may just have to leave OVH if this is how things are going, I expect lots of others will to, the lack of information is appalling!
