Oh! That figures, doesn't it? Well, at least you know what it is now

Oh well, as it turns out, the container was booting up perfectly well, the stupid java console is just broken :/ Login in to the container through command line works perfectly and was able to set up my failover IP etc. Thanks for the help Myatu, both here and in the other thread, much appreciated !

Sure can:

Just make sure you stop your VMs before you perform the upgrade.

I'm using 3.1 actually (I think OVH has 3.0 still), so perhaps this was caught in the bug fixes (see http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Roadmap#Proxmox_VE_3.1).

Thanks for the reply. It boggles my mind why this would work for you but not me ... Do you reckon downgrading to proxmox 2 instead of 3 might fix this? Is there anything I would miss out of proxmox 2 compare to 3?

Odd. Works ok for me, but given that it happens right after udev initialization, I can only think its something with the /dev's (perhaps missing an entry). I think it calls fstab and then networking after that.

Hey there,

I am currently trying to setup a centos 6.3 container under proxmox. I get the container created fine with the centos template, but when it comes to actually starting it up, it just hangs after this line:
"Starting udev ... [OK]"

Nothing happens after this, waited for 20 minutes just in case but no luck so far googling for an answer ...

Can anyone help me with this? Thanks !
