I've been trying this all day - nothing works!

My domains and hosting package got delivered today, so I've set about installing a few modules. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here though, as nothing is quite working how I'd expected;

maindomain.co.uk > primary hosting package > shows site root when browsed to
seconddomain.co.uk > points to primary hosting /second > shows 404
thirddomain.co.uk > points to primary hosting /third > shows 404

On the hosting for maindomain.co.uk, I added multi domains for seconddomain.co.uk and thirddomain.co.uk and pointed them to /second and /third - I just get a 404.

On maindomain.co.uk, I see the site root (which just lists directories at the moment) - do I just drop a HTML redirect page in the site root to point it to the correct folder?

I've checked all the IPs in DNS and they appear to be pointing at the maindomain.co.uk hosting server, and the www CNAME is there too.

Bah! I'm confused...
