I know VMware does not support soft Raid. Does anyone have any experience with the miniSP best of worlds with the raid controller?

Maybe post some iops stats.

Do you already have VMWare images you have to transfer? If not consider ProxMox 3. Also I would expect if you have a real RAID card then the hardware will tell the OS how to deal with it and so there will be no issues.


You also might want to check the CPU v the mSP before you buy.
