Its "vgchange --physicalextentsize". But why not install whatever distro you need installed, but don't use the entire disk for the partitioning (just 20 GB or so for the OS). Then you can always do the LV partitioning to your hearts content on the unused disk space.

Ok got this created within the manager, one thing how would I extend the LVM from the default 4mb to 32mb (PE SIZE?) or can I specify it within the manager during partitioning?

A better question would be is it essential to extend it to 32mb as the ovh tech on the phone said he has not had any calls about it.

Trying to set up our first KVM node and am having some issues with the partitioning (using manager v5 for BHS, canada)


How would I go about setting up the below, it needs a LV setup however I can see logical or LV as part of the options

"/ 80GB+ (KVM templates & iso's will be stored in /home/solusvm/kvm) SWAP 4GB+ (Virtual servers may use host swap if there is a real memory shortage) Logical Volume Group (LVM) remaining space (Logical Volume Group Only, SolusVM will create the logical volumes for the virtual servers inside this group) Please Note: The PE Size should be set to 32M not the Default of 4M."

Any help will be appreciated

If you need specific things done, you need to use debootstrap or similar tool for other distros to do it.
